India–UK Historic Trade Deal Signed

Prime Minister Modi completed a two-day state visit to the UK and signed a landmark free trade agreement—Britain’s most significant since Brexit, and India’s first outside Asia. The deal opens up nearly 99% of Indian exports to the UK tariff-free and holds phased reductions for UK exports to India. Some sectors remain cautious over competition.
